About Us

 

Established in 1976 the 18 hole 72 par course is situated on the lower Waitaki river plain  approximately 12 km  north of Oamaru.  The course is mainly flat, fully irrigated with generous fairways and easily walked by the average golfer. 

For men there are 3 separate tee options. Blue Tees 6140 m, slope 128, NZGA CR 71.6 : White tees 5802 m slope 123 CR 69.3 and Yellow Tees 5228 m slope 113 CR 66.6.                                                         
For women both the white and the yellow tees are rated: White slope 124, CR 76.1 and yellow slope 116 CR 72.2. 

Presently the club has approximately 200 members mainly from Oamaru and the surrounding district.  Regular playing days are:

   Tuesdays  Women  9.30am report.

   Wednesdays   Men   12 noon report.

   Saturdays  Men & Women 12 noon report.
